Cardiac Pacing Market Driver, Applications & Business Strategy Forecast 2022

The global Cardiac Pacing Market is witnessing fast-paced growth with a high CAGR in forthcoming period. Transcutaneous pacing as it is called is a temporary means of pacing a patient’s heart during a medical emergency which is manifested by delivering pulses of electric current through the patient’s chest which stimulates heart to contract. Heart beats of less than 60 beats per minute is a situation could warrant pacing but it is not mandatory. The process called bradycardia can have specific moments of panic when the ECG monitor displays a flat line which signifies a cardiac arrest and at times bradycardia could signify a complete heart block without any escape route.

Non-invasive pacing is used on a temporary basis until the patient is stabilized and heartbeat takes an intrinsic rhythm. Patients with CHD are often dependent on atrial contraction for better and precise cardiac output where both atrial and ventricular pacing wires are placed and atrial wires are placed on right atrium. Cardiac monitoring pertains to continuous or intermittent observation of heart activity to determine heart conditions. It helps diagnose cardiac arrhythmias and other heart conditions. Cardiac monitoring devices include ECG Devices, cardiac event monitors, ILR’s and COM devices. A temporary transcutaneous cardiac pacing can be implemented by insertion of transcutaneous lead or intra cardiac leads. One form is implemented by leads on chest in anterior/lateral position or as an alternative, in anterior/posterior position.
The goal in temporary Cardiac Pacing is to improve cardiac hemodynamic until problem of cardiac palpitation resolves itself or if not leads to permanent transcutaneous pacing. The defibrillators are applied to the chest with two patches; or in certain cases, one is applied on the chest and the other on the back. The response of patients to pacing may rather vary with reduced left systolic pressure and a lower stroke index, because of AV asynchronous.
Transcutaneous pacing produces greater cardiac output normally in contrast to endocardial ventricular pacing. There is another pacing called Asynchronous pacing that may come about when there are no ECG electrode leads present or when they fail to adhere to skin and this situation may warrant a pacing as the options are too few to restore active heart beat rate. But this option too is to be considered after serious deliberations and only as a last resort.
Segmentation of cardiac pacing market by regions includes North America, Europe Asia Pacific, MEA and Latin America. The key industry players in cardiac pacing market include Medtronci, Biotronix, Bosto Scientific, Jude Medical, Shree Pacetronix, Oscor, Sorin Group, Abbott, Braille Biomedica, Cook Medical, Inc, CCC Medical Devices, and Pacetronix.
